Are we really Independent, Where is FREEDOM?

Are we really Independent, Where is FREEDOM?

On occasion of India’s 66th Independence Day let me first wish all my followers, subscribers, well-wishers a very Happy Independence Day. I spend the morning hoisting our national flag at many institutions and delivering speeches. Spent the evening amidst a rain hideout of River Mahanadi in the outskirts of city. A complete siren atmosphere where soul will certainly get the heavenly peace and brain will act as a super computer away from the hassles of investing life.

A simple question struck my mind Are we really Independent?

Friends on 15th august 1947 we got only political freedom which will not be complete without social, economic and moral freedom.

Even after 65 years of we are plagued by the social evils like caste, regionalism, religion and a long list of things on which we should be ashamed of. Still incidents like Assam happen at regular interval. We are still waiting for the social freedom.

As per the data available on the public domain nearly 1/3 or our population is below poverty line sleep with the empty stomach in the night. They have no access to basic amenities like health, education and sanitation. In a Country which was once called “SONE KI CHIDIA” and where sang songs like “MERE DESH KI DHARTI SONA UGLE, UGLE HIRE MOTI” where is the economic freedom?

A country which is worshipping values like truth and honesty since ages and where Mahatma Gandhi fought his whole battle with only sole weapon Truth, the person occupying even the highest positions in our country are corrupt, dishonest and un trustworthy. So can we claim the moral freedom?
Well my dear friends you all will agree with me that we still want FREEDOM. A simple step of all of us together can give this ever precious thing. Lets’ take an oath today that we all will perform our duties and bear our responsibility in a 100% honest way towards our family, society and nation. Last but not the least Miracles do not take time to happen.

So funny. Freedom is freedom.
A man's way of doing things is the direct result of the way he thinks
about things.
